Greetings and welcome!

I've created this blog to share a few of my random thoughts with you, whoever you may be. A few days ago I got to thinking of all the places I'd been a full-time student: two elementary schools, one junior high, one senior high, and two colleges. I was trying to picture in my mind what the hallways looked like, what my locker combinations were (no hope there), what it felt like to go from room to room, that kind of thing. And then I realized all of them but one had blue as one of their school colors.

Hell, maybe most schools have blue as one of their colors, but I'm too lazy to do a statistical survey. But one way or another a liking for the color blue has made its way into my psyche, and that's where the name of the blog comes from. Well, that and the fact that I've been in a real funk lately.
